English Springer Rescue America, Inc. is a (501-C3) non-profit organization dedicated to the rescue, rehabilitation, and re-homing of Springers in need.

I am a volunteer with ESRA and I dedicate my work in the memory of my Springer Spaniel “Missy” who passed into Spirit on June 28, 2004.

I have been volunteering as a Foster Mom with ESRA since September 2004, helping and lending a hand where ever I can to this great organization.  My Animal Communication skills allow me to “Communicate” with the Springers and find ways in which to help the individual animal.

Mention ESRA when you book an appointment.   I will donate a portion of the fee to ESRA in support of the work that they do.

If you would like to make a donation or volunteer your time to E.S.R.A. contact, Caryn Pola, E.S.R.A. President.

In Memory of Missy:

I have dedicated my volunteer work with E.S.R.A. in Memory of my first Springer  Spaniel, “Missy”.  I rescued Missy from the East Valley Shelter in the San Fernando Valley in 1992.  When I saw her, she was the only dog paying attention to me.  She called to me, making eye contact with me while I was still 3 cages away.   “Please take me home, I  promise I’ll be good! Please, please take me home.”  The whole time her little butt was wiggling as she was trying to contain her excitement.  She knew I ‘d heard her .  We were the best of friends for 12 years!

She passed into spirit on June 28, 2004.  A form of cancer called Multiple Myloma took her.  Missy never knew she was supposed to be “sick”.  During her 18 month battle with cancer Missy was always excited to go camping, have visitors at home, and to help me teach Reiki classes.  She was a real Reiki Angel.  She loved it and couldn’t wait for her turn on the healing table!

Missy earned her Angel Wings long before she left us at the age of 14.

“When you bring an animal companion into your life,  you begin a journey - a journey  that will bring you more love and devotion than you have ever known, yet also test your strength and courage. If  you allow, the journey will teach you many things, about life, about yourself, and most of all, about love.  You will come away changed forever, for one soul cannot touch another without leaving its mark."

Friends of Cats, Inc.

You can’t buy love, but you can adopt it!

I have donated many hours of communication services  to Friends of Cats in San Diego.   Prissy above was suffering depression after the death of her long time human companion.  After our conversation we knew how to help Prissy.

Mission Statement:

To maintain a Shelter for homeless and unwanted cats with the goal of placing all healthy cats into loving adoptive homes while providing sanctuary for cats that are terminally ill, considered un-adoptable, or whose owners have arranged for their continued lifetime care. In a nurturing, rehabilitative environment, we ensure the health of all cats entrusted to our care, promote spaying and neutering, and resort to euthanasia only as a matter of compassion for cats whose terminal illness causes suffering.

"To the world you are nothing.
To a rescue dog you are the world"

Lea,  Thank you so much for your work with our kitties!  Prissy is doing great, gaining weight, feeling better and having more confidence!
